I’m a filmmaker, editor, and producer working across short and long-form content – spanning video, print, and digital. My focus is on shaping compelling stories with clarity, emotion, and a strong visual rhythm. This portfolio is a cross-section of the work I’ve done over the years: from documentaries of varying lengths, to branded docs, trailers sizzles and motion graphics.

DOCUMENTARY films

A feature documentary exploring the soundscapes of Thailand – from traditional labour songs to urban indie. I co-conceived, produced, co-directed and edited the film. It premiered at Busan, screened at SXSW, won Best Feature at IndieLisboa and was nominated Best Documentary at the Thailand National Film Awards. Rated 8.2 on IMDb.

A meditative, immersive tribute to pioneering British filmmaker F. Percy Smith. Created with Stuart A. Staples (Tindersticks), who also composed the score. The edit became a research journey through archives. Released by the BFI in the UK and Icarus Films in the US, it toured Europe with live music performances and became a temporary installation at the Centre Pompidou-Metz. Rated 7.6 on IMDB.

A 32-minute doc following a couple forced to leave their home of 30+ years on London’s Heygate Estate. I co-directed, co-produced and edited. Described by The Guardian as “a moving account of one couple’s plight, a social commentary for our times.” Over 50K YouTube views and real-world impact on Southwark housing policy.

A 360° film portrait of legendary Jamaican trumpeter Eddie “Tan Tan” Thornton. This deconstructed documentary, created with Strange Brothers, uses ambisonic sound to let viewers shape their own experience. Premiered at Brixton’s Ritzy Cinema and best viewed in VR.

BRANDED DOCUMENTARIES

I’ve created documentary-style films for a range of clients – from artists and cultural institutions like Argent, the Royal Academy, V&A and Sotheby’s, to charities and NGOs including VSO, ActionAid, MS Society, Blood Cancer UK, Fight Inequality and Stand Up To Cancer.

TRAILERS, SIZZLES and PROMOS

I’ve edited original UK theatrical trailers for clients like BFI, Revolver Entertainment, Arrow Films, Lionsgate, and Warner Bros TV. I’ve also created TV spots and reversioned trailers for YouTube and social media. I’ve edited and sometimes filmed extras for DVD releases – interviews with Mike Leigh, Ken Loach, Gurinder Chadha, The Quay Brothers, Alice Krige, Mark Rylance, Walter Lassally and others.

motion GRAPHICS and animation

I use After Effects to create everything from broadcast-ready titles to experimental animation. Some pieces, like the animations for The King Who Invented Ballet, were commissioned by the BBC. Many other videos throughout this portfolio include motion graphics elements.
